Netflix has announced that the much-anticipated fifth and final season of Stranger Things is set to premiere in early 2025. This announcement was accompanied by a captivating teaser titled “The End Begins,” which showcases returning characters from Hawkins and hints at a new, cryptic threat.

The teaser begins with Eleven, played by Millie Bobby Brown, in the remains of Hawkins Lab, surrounded by flickering lights and unsettling echoes from previous seasons. A chilling voiceover from the series’ antagonist, Vecna, underscores the tension as it proclaims, You thought it was over. But the final chapter has just begun.

Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer described this upcoming season as a culmination of their work, noting that it will be darker and more intense, while also serving as a tribute to the shows fans.

The announcement comes after a period of anticipation and delays in production due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, leaving fans eagerly awaiting updates. Following the teasers release, social media buzzed with excitement and speculation, with the hashtag #StrangerThingsFinale trending globally.

As the release date approaches, fans are preparing for a bittersweet farewell to one of Netflixs most beloved series.
