Hoda Kotb, a long-time co-host of the “Today” show, has officially departed from the program to dedicate more time to her family. Her final day on January 10 was marked by emotional tributes from colleagues and heartfelt support from viewers. Having spent nearly 30 years with NBC, Kotb expressed gratitude for her experiences on the show and shared her excitement for the new chapter in her life.

With Kotb’s exit, Craig Melvin will take over her responsibilities for the morning segments starting January 13. The show’s fourth hour will now feature a rotating list of celebrity guest co-hosts joining Jenna Bush Hager. Upcoming guests include well-known personalities such as Scarlett Johansson, Taraji P. Henson, Keke Palmer, and Eva Longoria.

The fourth hour has also been rebranded to “Today With Jenna & Friends,” introducing a new theme song and a dynamic format aimed at engaging a wider audience. These changes reflect the “Today” show’s commitment to evolution and innovation while upholding its legacy as a morning television favorite. The blend of familiar faces and celebrity guests aims to keep the content fresh and appealing to viewers, ensuring the program remains a staple in their daily routines.
