In this film, Malone will play a supporting role as a struggling writer in 1970s New York, delving into the complexities of the literary scene during that era. Expressing his excitement, Malone shared on Instagram that this opportunity is a “dream come true.” His transition from music to acting has generated considerable interest among fans and industry observers.
Filming for “The Critic” is scheduled to begin this summer, and the film is expected to be released in late 2025.
