Ed Sheeran has announced a follow-up to his deeply personal album, Subtract, titled Subtract 2. This new project is expected to delve into themes of recovery and hope, contrasting with the raw emotions presented in the first installment.

In a recent Instagram post, Sheeran offered a glimpse of an acoustic track, emphasizing that the latest album focuses on the idea of rebuilding after facing life’s challenges. He stated, “Life doesn’t stop throwing challenges at you, but it’s how we grow from them that matters.”

Fans can look forward to the album’s release in early June, with a pre-release single anticipated to drop in the coming weeks.
