Philip Glass to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award at World Soundtrack Awards

American composer Philip Glass will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award during the 25th annual World Soundtrack Awards on October 15, 2025. This significant recognition will coincide with a special film music concert, wrapping up the Film Music Days at Film Fest Gent, scheduled for October 16 in Ghent, Belgium.
The concert, titled Minimalism in Motion: Glass, Nyman and Beyond, will take place at Muziekcentrum De Bijloke. The Brussels Philharmonic, under the direction of conductor Dirk Brossé, will perform a selection of Glass’s influential works.
