On June 4, 2025, New York City hosted its annual Pride Parade, a vibrant celebration of the LGBTQ+ community, marked by colorful floats, live performances, and an unwavering message of inclusivity and acceptance. The event drew thousands of people, from all walks of life, who came together to honor the history, resilience, and progress of the LGBTQ+ movement
The parade kicked off around noon, with festivities starting in the heart of Manhattan. Thousands of participants, representing a diverse spectrum of groups, including LGBTQ+ organizations, local businesses, and advocates, gathered to march in solidarity. The streets were transformed into a kaleidoscope of color, with marchers adorned in bold, colorful outfits and others riding on elaborately decorated floats.
This year, the parade also saw a strong showing from grassroots movements, including those advocating for transgender rights, racial justice, and healthcare access for marginalized communities.
