James Cameron Reveals Official Title for Avatar 4: The Seed Bearer

James Cameron has announced the title of the fourth film in the Avatar series: Avatar: The Seed Bearer. The reveal took place at a press event held at Wētā FX, where Cameron also showcased early footage of the movie. Scheduled for release in December 2026, the film focuses on the next generation of Na’vi as they confront a new threat from humans while working to protect Pandora’s ecosystems.
Returning cast members for this installment include Sigourney Weaver, Zoe Saldaña, and Sam Worthington, in addition to several new actors joining the ensemble. Cameron has described Avatar: The Seed Bearer as “a deeply emotional journey that expands the world of Pandora in ways audiences have never seen before.”
