Deltron 3030 Celebrates 25 Years with North American Tour and New Album Plans
Milestone Anniversary
This year marks a significant milestone for the hip-hop supergroup Deltron 3030, composed of Del The Funky Homosapian, Kid Koala, and Dan the Automator. Their influential album, released a quarter of a century ago, remains a staple in the genre of underground rap, blending elements of trip-hop with cyberpunk aesthetics. During this period, Dan the Automator was also integral to numerous other noteworthy projects, including Kool Keith’s Dr. Octagonecologyst and the self-titled debut of Gorillaz.
Tour Announcement
In celebration of this landmark anniversary, Deltron 3030 will embark on a North American tour this summer. The tour will kick off in Vancouver in July and is set to feature a total of 16 performances across North America and Canada, culminating in a grand finale concert in New York City on October 6. This live tour will present the entire Deltron 3030 album in full, offering fans a chance to relive the iconic sounds that shaped their career.
Upcoming Projects
Fans who are unable to attend the tour can take heart in the news that the trio is also working on a new album. This forthcoming project will serve as a follow-up to their 2013 release, Phase 2, ensuring their legacy continues to evolve.
