Los Angeles-based EST N8, a sales, production, and finance company, has secured the rights to release the Indonesian horror film Pabrik Gula (Sugar Mill) in North America. This acquisition marks a significant step in showcasing Indonesian cinema to global audiences.
Pabrik Gula, directed by Awi Suryadi, is highly anticipated following his previous success with the record-breaking Indonesian film KKN di Desa Penari.

The film is set to premiere theatrically in Indonesia during Eid al-Fitr at the end of March 2025. Following its domestic release, Pabrik Gula will make its North American debut in April 2025, with screenings planned for IMAX theaters as well.

As ominous occurrences unfold, the characters must piece together the mystery of what has awakened these malevolent forces, all while grappling with the desperate need to escape and return home.
