Florence Pugh has opened up about her experience in the Hollywood industry, saying it can be “really exhausting”, especially for young women.
In a new interview, the Oppenheimer star talks about why difficulties exist in the film industry and why speaking out is encouraged.
“There’s a fine line that women have to walk within,” Pugh told the Times. “Otherwise they’re called divas, they’re called demanding, they’re problematic. And I don’t want to fit into the stereotypes that other people have created. It’s important for young women, not just in this industry. , actually just being in another industry is really exhausting. But I’ve always been encouraged to speak up.”
