SZA has announced the release date for her highly anticipated project, “Lana,” which serves as the deluxe edition of her 2022 album, “SOS.” Fans can expect the new music to drop on December 20th. Recently, actor Ben Stiller shared a clip where he lip-syncs to a preview of his new song “Drive,” which will feature SZA.
Despite their playful interactions on social media, SZA and Stiller have had a humorous dynamic, particularly highlighted by Stiller’s enthusiastic request for a second season of his show “Severance,” set to return next January.
For several months, SZA has been hinting at “Lana,” at one point suggesting it could be a separate project from the “SOS” deluxe edition. However, it appears that viewers will be treated to new music from her during the holiday season and into 2025.
In an earlier interview with British Vogue, SZA reflected on her evolving creative process, stating that her music is now inspired by a more positive mindset. She emphasized her desire to move beyond her past struggles and create music that feels lighter and more uplifting.
Additionally, SZA has collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on two tracks from his latest album, “GNX,” and she plans to join him on his Grand National Tour starting in April 2025.
