Playboi Carti has launched a deluxe edition of his latest album, MUSIC, now titled MUSIC – SORRY 4 DA WAIT. This expanded release features four additional tracks: “DIFFERENT DAY,” “2024,” “BACKROOMS,” and “FOMDJ.” Initially, these songs were only accessible through digital download formats available on Carti’s official website, but they are now available for streaming on various platforms.
A Remarkable Chart Performance
The deluxe edition coincided with MUSIC achieving a significant milestone on the Billboard 200 chart. The album debuted at number one, selling an impressive 298,000 equivalent album units during its first week. This feat marks the highest opening week for a rap album this year and is the best performance since Drake’s For All The Dogs released in 2023.
