Fans of Playboi Carti will need to wait a little longer for his eagerly awaited album, I AM MUSIC. Originally set to be released at midnight EST, the rapper revealed via social media that the album’s launch has been postponed by three hours, now scheduled for 3 a.m. EST.
Reason for Delay
Carti explained the last-minute delay was due to the need for Young Thug to submit his verse for the album. In a post on X, he shared, “HAD TO WAIT 4 THUG 2 SEND HIS VERSE,” confirming that the Atlanta rap star will be part of the project.

Alongside the announcement, Carti unveiled a tentative list of featured artists anticipated on I AM MUSIC. The tracklist includes several big names in the industry, such as:

Prior to embarking on a tour with The Weeknd, Carti is set to perform songs from I AM MUSIC during his live appearance at Rolling Loud California in 2025.
