It’s the season of giving. The ARIA charts deliver plenty of musical cheer. Taylor Swift and Rosé are hitting some big milestones just in time for the holidays.
Swift continues her record-breaking year at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart, while Rosé continues to shake up the scene with her Christmas classics, holding on to No. 1 on the ARIA Singles Chart.
Swift’s “The Tortured Poets Department” is going strong, staying at number one on the album charts for eight consecutive weeks. 2024 will be the 18th week in which Taylor has dominated the ARIA charts across multiple albums. that’s right. She outperformed even herself, breaking her 17-week streak dating back to 2023.
Adding to the excitement, Stray Kids debuted at No. 4 with their mixtape “Hop.” Led by Australia’s Felix and Bangchan, K-Pop superstars have proven they are a force to be reckoned with following the success of last year’s 5 Stars.
Meanwhile, Michael Bublé’s “Christmas” made a festive comeback, returning to the top 10 at No. 9. Because, let’s be honest, no Christmas is complete without Bublé singing in the background.
On the singles chart, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT” was a huge hit. shows no signs of slowing down, staying at number one for seven consecutive weeks. With one more week, it could tie Sabrina Carpenter’s “Taste” as the longest-running No. 1 single of 2024.
