Megan Thee Stallion has filed for a restraining order against Tory Lanez, who is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting her.
Lawyers for Megan, whose real name is Megan Peet, filed a 194-page document in Los Angeles Superior Court on Tuesday (December 17), alleging that Lanez “threatened Peete,” the Associated Press reported. The parents argued that: The order, which was issued in 2020, expired last year, leaving her “without protection when she needed it most.”
Legal documents accuse Lanez (also known as Daystar Peterson) of having an “established pattern of behavior (demonstrating) why this civil harassment restraining order is necessary to protect Ms. Pete and her health.” He was described as a “violent and dangerous criminal.”
It also includes allegations that Lanez hired online “bloggers” to challenge her memory of the shooting while in prison. The document names one of the bloggers, Elizabeth Milagro Cooper, who Meghan sued for harassment in October and says is now Lanez’s “puppet and spokesperson.”
In December 2022, Lanez was convicted of assault with a semi-automatic weapon. Possession of an unregistered firearm that is not loaded in a vehicle. Discharging a firearm due to gross negligence. The judge denied a motion for a new trial from Lanes’ attorney, who is appealing his conviction.
